The MP & Silva agency has agreed a deal to market the NFL American football league’s media rights across 42 European territories.
Under the agreement, MP & Silva will be the NFL’s agent to distribute television and selected digital rights for the NFL for five years, from 2015 to 2019.
The contract includes the markets of: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and the Vatican City.
The representation covers NFL television and digital simulcast rights of pre-season and regular-season games, all playoff games, the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl. The deal also includes game-day service NFL Red Zone, programming content from league-owned pay-television broadcaster NFL Network and key events such as the NFL Draft.
