NBC Sports faces a major battle to retain United States media rights to the English Premier League with ESPN, WarnerMedia, and CBS Sports all expected to bid for a new contract which will begin at the start of the 2022-23 season.
According to Bloomberg, Premier League clubs are expected to approve a tender bid for US rights rather than simply renew with NBC Sports, the league's US rightsholder since 2013.
