The NBC Sports Group division of media company NBCUniversal has extended and expanded a rights deal for the World Series of Fighting mixed martial arts series.
The multi-year extension will run until 2017.
The deal includes multi-platform rights, with events to be shown on pay-television channel NBC Sports Network and the NBC network as well as digital platforms.
The partnership began in November 2012 when the series launched, and to date NBC Sports Group has shown every World Series of Fighting Event on a live basis.
