The NBC Sports Group division of US media company NBCUniversal has agreed a rights partnership with the World Rowing Federation (Fisa) for this year's World Championships.
The deal grants NBC Sports exclusive rights to the event, which will take place in the US city of Sarasota from September 24 to October 1.
NBC Sports will deliver more than 10 hours of coverage of the event, starting from September 28.
NBC Sports will provide coverage through NBCSN, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app and the International Olympic Committee’s Olympic Channel. NBCUniversal agreed a content partnership with the IOC and the United States Olympic Committee in December.
NBC Sports agreed a similar rights deal with USA Swimming earlier this week. The deal grants NBC Sports exclusive television and digital rights to a number of USA Swimming-organised events until 2024.
