Neo Sports Broadcast, a division of the Nimbus Communications agency, has acquired rights in Asia for all professional domestic and international cricket matches played in New Zealand.
The deal, which excludes the Middle East, will run for seven years, starting immediately and running until 2020.
Neo Sports Broadcast struck the deal with the Pitch International agency, which is the exclusive international broadcast and sponsorship agency of New Zealand Cricket, the sport’s governing body in New Zealand.
Neo Sports Broadcast, which operates the Neo Prime and Neo Sports pay-television channels, has secured rights to 261 days of live cricket coverage comprising 18 Twenty20 matches, 63 One-Day Internationals and 36 Tests.
Coverage begins on March 6 when New Zealand hosts England in a three-match Test series.
