A new online streaming platform has been introduced ahead of the inaugural edition of Twenty20 cricket competition the Pakistan Super League.
Sports business enterprise Global Sports Commerce and its affiliate Techfront, a technology solutions firm, have joined forces to launch cricketgateway.com. The platform has been named the official digital online live streaming partner of the PSL and holds exclusive global digital, mobile and video rights to the franchise-based competition.
The website and mobile application will include live coverage of PSL games, as well as highlights packages and interactive features. Its PSL content will be available to stream globally.
The cricketgateway.com website is also providing coverage of the ongoing debut edition of the Masters Champions League and will cover the 2016 Indian Premier League. Its MCL coverage is available in Pakistan and the Middle East, while its IPL content will be shown globally, with the exception of India.
The PSL is scheduled to take place from February 4-24 in Dubai and Sharjah, with five teams set to take part in the first edition of the league.
