NFL touches down in Europe with Dailymotion deal

Video-sharing website Dailymotion has struck a deal with American football league the NFL to stream live coverage of games to viewers in France, Belgium and Switzerland for the remainder of the 2013-14 season.

Dailymotion will also feature game highlights among a range of American football content on its dedicated NFL channel. The first live stream is scheduled for Sunday, October 27.

Dailymotion's executive vice-president Martin Rogard said: “Dailymotion is pleased to welcome the NFL which provides, without a doubt, some of the most exciting events in the world in terms of athletic performance but also in terms of video quality. This partnership confirms the rise of our sports channel in terms of high value-added content.”
