Dutch public-service broadcaster NOS has acquired exclusive rights in the Netherlands for the Uefa Euro 2016 national team football tournament.
The deal covers all 51 games at the tournament across television, internet, mobile and radio platforms.
NOS struck the deal with the CAA Eleven agency, which was awarded the rights to Euro 2016 by Uefa, European football’s governing body, in September, as reported exclusively by TV Sports Markets.
“Broadcasting major sporting events, even in the difficult few years ahead of us, remains a priority for NOS,” the broadcaster’s general director, Jan de Jong, said.
The tournament expands from 16 teams to 24 in 2016.
