UK pay-television broadcaster Sky will offer a free Sky Sports Day Pass for its online streaming service Now TV to coincide with the opening day of the 2015 Ashes cricket series between England and Australia.
The Ashes gets underway with the opening Test match at SWALEC Stadium, Cardiff from July 8-12 and the free pass will be offered for the first day of the encounter.
Commenting on the offer, Gidon Katz, director of Now TV, said: “We know premium live sport is one of the main reasons that our customers choose Now TV.”
Sky in January agreed a two-year extension to its partnership with the England & Wales Cricket Board. The new contract extended the partnership through to 2019 and covers exclusive live rights to England’s home fixtures, county matches, women's and age grade cricket.
