Perform opts to take digital properties onto YouTube

Digital media company Perform is to launch branded channels on video-sharing website YouTube for its live sports streaming service Livesport.tv and football news website Goal.com.

The YouTube channels will deliver video content from Perform’s portfolio of global digital sports rights to viewers across the globe.

Perform said the streaming would be advertiser-funded, with some of the action available to stream on a paid-for basis in the United States.

To accompany the launch of the YouTube channels, Perform has also developed more than 20 applications for the Google Chrome web store for clients including English Premier League football clubs Chelsea and Newcastle United, the Women’s Tennis Association and consumer video subscription website TennisTV.
