Digital sports content group Perform has agreed a partnership with the organising committee of the Baku 2015 European Games.
As part of the deal with Baku European Games Operations Committee (BEGOC), Perform will deliver content and aid promotion of the multi-sport event, which takes place in the Azerbaijani capital from June 12-28, 2015.
Perform will deliver extensive multilingual news and features.
This video and editorial content will be distributed to global broadcasters and publishers via Perform’s Omnisport sports news service, the ePlayer, and consumer portals.
The content will also be available on the official website of the European Games and Baku 2015’s official social media channels.
Perform will base production teams in Baku and London, showcasing the event’s 20 different sports across eight languages.
In addition, Baku 2015 will be promoted throughout Europe via advertising on Perform platforms such as Goal, Spox and Mackolik.
Charlie Wijeratna, commercial director at Baku 2015, said: “All sporting events need to have a strong digital presence and Perform has an impressive track-record of working with the most prestigious sporting competitions.”
