Polish senators have decided to reject a proposed bill which could force US media group Discovery to give up its holdings in the country.
The so-called ‘Lex TVN’ bill has created headlines over issues of freedom of press and democracy in Poland. Discovery last month said it “remained resolute” in its defence of its Polish business interests after the lower house of the country’s parliament (Sejm) passed Lex TVN.
