England’s Premier League issued media-rights tenders covering 17 markets on Friday (October 5), following up on the tender covering seven markets launched last Tuesday (October 2).
On Friday, the Premier League launched tender processes in: Canada, Israel, Turkey, and 14 Central and Eastern European territories. Rights are on offer for three seasons in each territory, from 2019-20 to 2021-22. Bids in each territory are due on November 6.
In Central and Eastern Europe, bidders can bid for individual territories or groups of territories.
Last Tuesday, the league issued tenders in seven markets: Belgium (with non-exclusive rights in Luxembourg); France and Monaco (with non-exclusive rights in Andorra, Luxembourg and Switzerland); Greece; Iceland; the Netherlands; Poland; and Spain (with non-exclusive rights in Andorra). The rights are available for the same three seasons, 2019-20 to 2021-22. Bids in each territory are due on October 31, between 10am and 12pm UK time.
