Romanian commercial broadcaster Pro TV has acquired rights for the Uefa Europa League for three years, from 2012-13 to 2014-15, in a deal brokered by the Team Marketing agency.
The broadcaster will show matches involving Romanian teams each match week as well as a highlights programme on its main channel Pro TV. The broadcaster will also show one game live per match week and a highlights programme on its sports channel Sport.ro.
Pro TV will share these rights with Uefa’s previously appointed Europa League broadcast partners in Romania – pay-television broadcaster RCS-RDS and telco Romtelecom.
Pro TV’s deal includes mobile and internet rights.
