Italian Serie A football club AS Roma has launched its own television channel through a multi-year partnership with pay-television broadcaster Sky Italia.
Roma TV has launched under the deal which grants Sky television and media rights to Roma properties. The channel will broadcast 24 hours a day and available to subscribers of Sky’s sports and football packages.
Sky has been granted the exclusive rights to Roma’s media archive, while it will also have enhanced access to the club’s training complex and press conferences. Roma TV will also provide the club’s Uefa Champions League games after midnight on the day of the matches.
Roma TV will also offer live coverage of the team’s remaining pre-season games through to the August 14 home clash against Spanish Liga club Sevilla.
