Dutch commercial broadcaster RTL has acquired rights to the 2015 Motocross (MXGP) World Championship motorcycling series.
Under the deal with series promoter Youthstream and Dutch promoter LDP International, RTL will broadcast the remainder of the 2015 MXGP World Championship, along with magazine series ‘Behind the Gate’. RTL will also provide the latter programming in Luxembourg.
Youthstream said Dutch sponsors HSF Logistics, Wilvo, Nestaan and the State of Drenthe all assisted in enabling the RTL rights deal.
The agreement was signed ahead of the MXGP of Europe, which took place in the Dutch municipality of Valkenswaard yesterday (Sunday).
