Pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports has acquired rights to North American ice hockey league the NHL in the Netherlands.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Fox said it will commence NHL broadcasts on Saturday with reigning Stanley Cup champion the Los Angeles Kings taking on the Vancouver Canucks.
Fox Sports will televise five NHL games per week, featuring the original American commentary.
