Spanish public-service broadcaster RTVE has acquired rights for the Supercopa season-opening football clash between Barcelona and Sevilla.
The clash will take place in the Moroccan city of Tangier on August 12.
RTVE, which struck the deal with the RFEF, the sport’s governing body in Spain, will exploit the rights across the La1, RNE and RTVE.es platforms.
The match will represent the first time that the Supercopa will be a single contest rather than a two-legged affair and also the first time that the event will take place outside Spain.
