Organisers of golf’s Ryder Cup have launched an official channel for this year’s tournament on video-sharing website YouTube.
The Ryder Cup Channel will feature coverage from the 2014 event, which begins at Gleneagles, Scotland on September 23.
Fans will be able to view exclusive behind-the-scenes content, features, player profiles and additional footage. Organisers said the content will complement the Ryder Cup’s social media coverage.
Mark Lichtenhein, director of broadcasting, digital media and technology for Ryder Cup Europe, said: “The launch of the Ryder Cup YouTube channel is another step forward to further improve fan access to and engagement with the Ryder Cup.”
The Ryder Cup Channel has joined the YouTube partner network and will protect rights-restricted content from third party uploads.
