A deal has already been agreed with Supersport in South Africa and incumbent broadcasters Sky Television in New Zealand and Fox Sports in Australia are in the final stages of negotiation.
A European tender process is continuing, with deals set to be agreed with BSkyB in the UK, Sky Italia in Italy and Sogecable in Spain among others. French pay-broadcaster Canal Plus has already announced its renewal. Rights fees are understood to have gone up across the board, doubling in some cases.
