UK pay-television broadcaster BSkyB will show the world super middleweight boxing title unification bout between Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler on May 25 on the Sky Box Office pay-per-view channel.
It will be the first Froch fight to be shown on Sky Box Office and the first boxing contest to be broadcast on the pay-per-view channel in nearly two years, according to the Daily Mail newspaper.
“Fighting on Sky Box Office puts me up there with the modern British stars like Lennox Lewis, Prince Naseem Hamed, Ricky Hatton and David Haye and viewers are going to get the full ruthless Carl Froch experience,” Froch said.
Sky will show preview programming ahead of the fight through its Behind The Ropes documentary series.
Froch lost on points to Kessler in their only previous meeting in 2010.
