Pay-television broadcaster Sky New Zealand has acquired the domestic rights, along with those across the Pacific Islands, to multi-sport event the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Sky will provide extensive coverage of the Games across six channels, as well as news and daily highlights across its digital platforms, via pay-television and free-to-air in New Zealand.
Additionally, Sky will produce a daily highlights package which will include coverage of competitors from the Pacific Islands. The package will be distributed to each of the region’s territories.
The 2014 Commonwealth Games take place in the Scottish city of Glasgow from July 23 to August 3 next year.
