Sky’s coverage will includes live games and a two-hour weekly highlights show. The broadcaster will increase the number of live game broadcasts towards the end of the season and will also show the cup final, playoff final and trophy final live.
The coverage will continue to be produced by production company Televideo.
“Last season’s coverage was extremely well received throughout the sport and we are delighted to extend our relationship with Sky Sports into a third season,” the league’s chairman, Paul Blake, said. “The coverage last term provided an excellent platform for the league to showcase our exciting product and we anticipate this season it will be to an even higher standard.”
