Italian DTT sports broadcaster Sportitalia has acquired exclusive rights for the European Handball Federation (EHF) Champions League club competition.
The length of the deal was not disclosed, but the agreement will run until at least the end of the 2015-16 season.
Live coverage of the tournament began yesterday (Thursday), with the broadcaster providing live coverage via DTT channel 60, on channel 225 on pay-television platform Sky Italia and on the Sportitalia.com website.
The EHF Marketing division of the EHF brokers the tournament’s media rights.
