Swiss public-service broadcaster SRG has agreed a five-season extension to its rights deal with the national governing bodies of basketball, handball, floorball and volleyball.
The new contract will run from 2018-19 to 2022-23 and will ensure the domestic championships and cup finals of the four sports receive coverage across SRG’s television, online and radio platforms.
Swiss insurance group Mobiliar, a sponsor of the four sports bodies, is part of the agreement and SRG said it would be open to partnering with other broadcasters in covering the events.
