Swiss public-service broadcaster SRG SSR has acquired non-exclusive rights for the Uefa Champions League and Europa League for three seasons, from 2012-13 to 2014-15.
SRG SSR will show live coverage of the first-pick match each match night from the Champions League followed by highlights, and the first-pick match per kick-off slot from the Europa League. Coverage will be shown on SRG SSR’s free-to-air channels RSI La2 (Italian language), SF2 (German language) and RTS2 (French language).
SRG SSR will share the broadcast rights to both competitions with pay-television broadcaster Teleclub, which agreed its deal with Uefa in May this year.
The deal also includes mobile and internet rights.
The Team Marketing agency, Uefa’s global sales agent for the two competitions, brokered the deal.
