UK production company Sunset+Vine has secured an extension to its media and distribution contract for the Extreme Sailing Series and has sealed new rights deals for the yachting series.
OC Sport, the operator of the series, has extended Sunset+Vine’s contract into the 2016 campaign.
The deal has coincided with Sunset+Vine sealing rights agreements with Bloomberg EMENA, the European, Middle Eastern and Northern African division of international business news broadcaster Bloomberg, and Chinese digital platform LeTV. Bloomberg EMENA is available in 77 territories across Europe and the Middle East.
The lengths of the deals were not disclosed, but 50 broadcasters now show the series worldwide.
All eight events per season are also available for free via video-sharing website YouTube.
