UK production company Sunset+Vine has signed a three-year host broadcast partnership with Tie Break Tens and has brokered an exclusive rights deal for the tennis series with media company UKTV.
As host producer, Sunset+Vine will deliver the series’ world feed, as well as all feature-led digital content.
UKTV’s rights deal will allow the company to showcase the series across the UK and Ireland via its flagship free-to-air entertainment channel, Dave. Sunset+Vine will also produce Dave’s programming.
Tie Break Tens is a short-form tennis series that only features tie-breaks. Coverage of the 2017 series will begin in the Spanish capital of Madrid on May 4, when both men’s and women’s events will take place side by side in a knockout format.
The Madrid event will feature the likes of British No.1 Jo Konta, Garbine Muguruza and Maria Sharapova. The men’s draw will include US Open champion Stan Wawrinka, Kei Nishikori and Grigor Dimitrov.
