Cricket South Africa has furthered the reach of the 2014 edition of its flagship domestic Twenty20 competition, the T20 Challenge, by agreeing a rights deal with Indian subcontinent pay-television broadcaster Taj TV.
Under the terms of the deal, the matches televised by pay-television broadcaster SuperSport in South Africa will also been shown live on Taj’s pay-television broadcaster Ten Sports in Asia and the Middle East.
CSA, the governing body of South African cricket, said 19 matches are currently scheduled to be televised under the deal with a “few more” to be added towards the latter end of the tournament.
The month-long T20 Challenge gets underway on Sunday.
