UK telecommunications provider TalkTalk has added specialist boxing channel BoxNation and pay-television broadcaster Premier Sports to its pay-television service YouView.
BoxNation will be available to TalkTalk customers as a ‘TV Boost’ for £12 (€15/$20) per month, with no ongoing commitment. Viewers will be able to access Premier Sports’ coverage which includes Australian rugby league competition the NRL, North American ice hockey league the NHL and the Nascar stock car racing series.
The channels will be available from August 22, with BoxNation’s September schedule boasting high-profile world title fights between Kiko Martinez and Carl Frampton for the IBF super-bantamweight belt and Floyd Mayweather Jr and Marcos Maidana’s WBC and WBA welterweight clash.
Last month, TalkTalk extended its wholesale agreement with BSkyB, making the UK pay-television broadcaster’s six sports channels, including the newly launched Sky Sports 5, available to customers for £15 per month over the next three months before reverting to its £30 monthly price.
