Telco Telefónica is close to clinching a sublicensing deal with OTT subscription broadcaster DAZN for its five weekly LaLiga matches from next season, it has been reported.
The impending agreement, which has been reported by Spanish newspaper El Confidencial, would enable Telefónica’s pay-television network Movistar Plus to broadcast all matches from the top-tier league, as it does under its current deal (from 2019-20 to 2021-22).
