Eurosport has agreed a new distribution deal with Spanish telecommunications company Telefónica to include the pan-regional sports broadcaster’s live sport multi-feed service, Eurosport 360HD.
The service will be available to Telefónica subscribers for Eurosport’s coverage of the 2014 French Open tennis tournament, which starts next week.
Eurosport 360HD, which launched on Sky Deutschland for the Germany pay-television broadcaster’s coverage of the 2013 US Open tennis tournament, allows the viewer to select views from various camera feeds. The service will provide simultaneous coverage of up to seven courts during the French Open.
