Indian subcontinent pay-television broadcaster Ten Sports has acquired rights for the Tour de France cycling race.
The deal will run for four years, from 2013 to 2016.
Under the agreement with Amaury Sport Organisation, which operates the race, Ten Sports has acquired free-to-air, pay-television, IPTV, pay-per-view and video-on-demand rights.
The deal is exclusive across the Indian subcontinent, with the exception of Sri Lanka, where Ten Sports will share coverage with pan-regional sports broadcaster Eurosport Asia-Pacific.
