Thai authorities taken to court over World Cup access

The Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) and National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) have been taken to court over claims they failed to ensure broad coverage of the 2022 Fifa World Cup in the country.

Complaints have been lodged with the Administrative Court with complainants including Nopadol Wongwihok, a public representative, according to The Nation newspaper in Thailand.
