The Fox Sports International media company agreed a multi-year deal to provide at least 250 hours of live US college sports programming per year to Canadian cable-television sports channel The Score.
The agreement includes American football, basketball and ice hockey games from leading college conferences such as the Big 12 Conference, Pac-12 Conference and Conference USA. The deal also includes some programming from Fox Sports’ portfolio of channels and Fox-owned cable channel Fuel TV, which specialises in extreme sports.
Benjie Levy, executive vice-president and chief operating officer of Score Media, said: “Score viewers are huge fans of college sports, and as part of this deal, they can now look forward to more coverage than ever before.”
