Time’s 120 Sports network to launch on Apple TV

The new 120 Sports digital sports channel operated by US Media group Time is to launch on digital media player Apple TV.

The digital channel will offer eight hours of live coverage every evening.

Apple TV customers will also have access to various magazine programmes such as the 120 Morning Run and the 120 Football Fix, both of which are live two-hour shows.

In addition, Apple TV users will gain access to a library of on-demand sports video content through the Catch-Up and Timeline services.

Catch-Up enables users to view a stream of videos of the top-trending sports topics. Timeline mode allows viewers to watch the live 120 Sports stream as well as all videos produced throughout the day.

Sports coverage available through 120 Sports will feature content from the network’s media partners, which include Major League Baseball’s MLB.com, the National Hockey League, golf’s PGA Tour, the NBA basketball league and North American stock car-racing series Nascar.
