The Total Sports Asia agency has been appointed by golf’s Ladies European Tour to exclusively market and distribute its 2014 events worldwide, excluding Europe and North America.
Under the agreement, the LET and its production partner U.Com Media will work alongside TSA to broaden the Tour’s broadcast reach.
There will be a particular focus on Asia, which is an important growth market for the LET as it has several events planned in the region.
TSA Group chief executive Marcus Luer said: “We have been watching the golf space for some time and I strongly believe that there is tremendous potential for ladies’ golf in general and especially for the Ladies European Tour. We have proven many times in the past that we know how to assist an emerging sport and help them grow beyond their traditional borders. I have no doubt that we will do the same again here.”
