TV2, NRK add to football rights pact with 2026 World Cup deal

Norwegian commercial and pay-television broadcaster TV2, and public-service broadcaster NRK, have continued their cooperation in the football rights market by agreeing a deal for the 2026 Fifa World Cup.

The deal comes after Fifa, football’s world governing body, initiated broadcast rights sales processes in the Nordic region for the Women’s World Cup in 2023 and the men’s World Cup in 2026.
