Swedish commercial and pay-television broadcaster TV4 has acquired rights to the top French football league, Ligue 1, in a two-year deal from 2012-13 to 2013-14.
Under the new deal, up to five live matches per week will be shown across basic-tier channel TV4 Sport, and pay-television channel TV4 Sport Xtra.
The deal includes rights across all platforms. Matches will also be made available via the video-on-demand service TV4 Play.
