Uefa, European football’s governing body, has agreed deals in Slovenia with basic-tier sports broadcaster Sportklub and telco Telekom Slovenia, for live rights to the Champions League, for three seasons, from 2012-13 to 2014-15.
Sportklub will show the first-pick Wednesday night match live, followed by a highlights programme, while Telekom Slovenia will televise all other matches live. The telco will show the first-pick Tuesday night match on basic-tier channel Planet TV, followed by a highlights show, with the other matches available on Telekom Slovenia’s IPTV channel.
Both broadcasters will show the Champions League final and the Uefa Super Cup.
The deals, brokered by the Team Marketing agency, also include mobile and internet rights.
