European football’s governing body Uefa has announced the invitation to tender process for media rights to two editions of its European Championship national team competition will be launched in Italy and Germany next week.
In Italy, the sales process for Euro 2016, which is being hosted by France, will commence on April 13 with bids being accepted up to May 12.
In Germany, the sales process for Euro 2020, a special edition of the tournament through which Munich will host three group games and one quarter-final, will commence on April 14 and close on May 13.
Both sales processes will be administered by CAA Eleven, Uefa’s exclusive marketing agency for the exploitation of certain media and commercial rights relating to its national team competitions.
