Cincinnati’s NBC network affiliate, WLWT (Channel 5), has acquired local broadcast rights for all four Cincinnati Bengals primetime NFL American football games in 2013.
In addition to its role as the only Cincinnati broadcaster for the Bengals’ scheduled December 15 appearance on NBC’s Sunday Night Football, WLWT has negotiated a deal with the league to acquire rights as the local non-cable simulcast provider of the team’s three other prime-time games on August 8, September 16 and October 31 respectively.
Two of those games will be shown by sports broadcaster ESPN and one will be broadcast by league-owned pay-television broadcaster NFL Network.
