Pan-regional sports broadcaster Eurosport has acquired rights for the Archery World Cup and World Archery Championships.
The three-year deal, which will run from 2014 to 2016, was agreed with World Archery, the sport's global governing body.
Eurosport and Eurosport 2 will broadcast highlights from each of the four stages of the 2014 Archery World Cup. The final in Lausanne, Switzerland will be shown live on Eurosport 2, with highlights on Eurosport and Eurosport 2.
Eurosport 2 will also show live coverage of the 2014 World Archery Championships on March 1 and 2. The channel will also show repeats and highlights on both days and a round-up on March 5.
Eurosport Asia-Pacific also has the option to broadcast live or delayed coverage of the 2014 World Archery Indoor Championships or the 2014 Archery World Cup Final.
In the second and third years of the agreement, Eurosport will broadcast the Archery World Cup’s stages and finals, the World Archery Championships and highlights from other events.
The deal also includes promotional coverage of World Archery events on Eurosport’s television and digital networks.
