Football: The English Premier League agreed deals across most of Asia for the next three-year period, from 2010-11 to 2012-13. Rights were awarded to SingTel in Singapore, a joint-bid from pan-regional broadcaster ESPN Star Sports and Astro All Asia Networks in Malaysia, pay-broadcaster Truevisions in Thailand and the MP&Silva agency in Japan and Vietnam. ESS also won the rights in a further 17 countries, including Indonesia, the Indian sub-continent and South Korea.
