The Advisers Media International agency has acquired rights to LaLiga, the top division of Spanish club football, in various markets in Europe and Asia.
AMI’s contracts commence with the 2018-19 season and run for three to five campaigns, dependent on the territory.
AMI’s agreement includes Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
AMI is returning to distributing LaLiga rights in these markets after a prolonged absence. The deal announced today (Monday) comes after the agency this month secured rights to the Formula One motor-racing championship from 2018 to 2020.
That deal covered Slovenia, Croatia, Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Bosnia, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Ukraine.
