Dakar Rally organiser Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) has said that the 2015 edition of the annual motorsport event will receive coverage in 190 countries through 70 broadcasters.
Dakar 2015 will take place from January 4-17 in Argentina, Chile and Bolivia.
According to ASO, pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports will provide more than six hours of daily coverage throughout South America.
European rights-holders include public-service broadcaster France Télévisions, Dutch commercial broadcaster RTL, Spanish public-service broadcaster TVE and Polish commercial broadcaster TVN.
Pan-regional broadcaster Eurosport will provide coverage in Europe and Asia, while NBC Sports Network, the cable-television sports channel of network NBC, has acquired rights in the US.
ASO added that a new broadcast innovation will be offered in 2015 in the shape of a drone providing aerial images of the action.
