US telecommunications company AT&T has struck a deal to carry new Latin American action sports channel PX TV on its U-Verse pay-television service.
The new Spanish-language channel broadcasts live event coverage, original programmes and packaged series. Action sports featured on the channel include skateboarding, BMX biking, snowboarding and surfing.
Under the carriage deal, PX TV programming will be made available to AT&T U-Verse customers on the U200, U300 and U450 Latino packages.
AT&T U-Verse will be the first service in the US to offer PX TV, which is distributed worldwide by Alterna TV, a subsidiary of satellite-television service provider Eutelsat Americas.
