Al Jazeera-owned pay-television broadcaster beIN Sport has acquired rights in France to American football’s National Football League in a three-year deal, from 2012 to 2014.
BeIN Sport will show four matches per week, three of them live – on Sunday, Monday and Thursday nights. The broadcaster will also show live coverage of the season finale, the Super Bowl.
The first match to be shown on beIN Sport will be the season opener, between last season’s victors the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys on September 5.
