The inaugural World Rallycross Championship will be televised in the UK by British Eurosport in 2014 following a deal between series promoter IMG Motorsport and the British arm of the pan-regional broadcaster.
Having televised the European Rallycross Championship last year, eight of the 12 rounds provisionally listed for the World Championship will be broadcast live on British Eurosport or British Eurosport 2 over two-hours in Sunday afternoon primetime slots.
The rounds in Finland, Sweden, Canada and France will be shown on a delayed basis, while British Eurosport is also planning a comprehensive highlights and repeats package.
The 2014 World Rallycross Championship gets under way at Montalegre, Portugal on May 4, with British Eurosport providing live coverage between 2pm and 4pm GMT.
