Cape Epic to be broadcast live outside South Africa for first time

Organisers of South African mountain bike race Absa Cape Epic have announced that the 2014 event will be broadcast live outside the country for the first time.

Broadcasters in the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary and Switzerland will show two-hour live feeds of the final stage on March 30. The names of the individual broadcasters were not disclosed. 

South African broadcasters will show over four hours of live daily coverage of the final stage as well as the prologue on March 23.

Organisers will stream live coverage of Cape Epic on the event’s official website. 

A post-event documentary will also be broadcast in a number of countries.
